TRILOGY TAP TEAM
Welcome to the Trilogy Tap Team! A performance-based semi-professional team focusing solely on tap dancing.
We are so excited to be bringing back the Trilogy Tap Team! Showcase your love of Tap in a supportive, positive team atmosphere. The Trilogy Tap Team will perform at community, fundraising and major sporting events in Saskatoon and surrounding area, giving this historic and beloved art form exposure throughout our city. The team will be given several routines they will be proud to perform. The Trilogy Tap Team will train in a variety of tap styles, focus on tap history to understand where we’ve come from, and stay up to date with the latest tap trends to know where we’re going. Special guest instructors and opportunities will arise throughout the season. The Trilogy Tap team is directed and lead by Trilogy Academy Co-Owner/Director Miss Zoe Vassos, award winning choreographer, and reputable tap teacher and choreographer.
The Trilogy Tap Team is not part of the competitive program at Trilogy Academy of Dance & Baton Twirling, and will not attend studio competitions. There will be a performance included at the Trilogy Academy year-end recital, along with other performances throughout the season.
There will be ten 2-hour classes (10am-12pm) included in the 2024-2025 Trilogy Tap Team season. The schedule is as follows:

Auditions for the Trilogy Tap Team are coming up on Sunday, September 8th 2024. Open to Ages 15+ with previous tap experience. Must be able to pick up choreography quickly and have a good performance quality.
TRILOGY X REFINE CROSS-TRAINING

With Trilogy x Refine cross-training classes!
Refine classes offer a unique combination of strength training, conditioning, and dance-specific training to help build body awareness, strength, and confidence in movement. Want to turn more consistently, jump higher, build stamina, and work to prevent injuries? This class is for you! Classes consist of specifically designed workouts to complement dancer’s in-class work through foundational movements as well as complimentary dance-specific training exercises creating a base of strength and body awareness applicable across all dance disciplines.
Exercises and workouts can be modified to suit each athlete’s individual ability level and needs!

TRILOGY TRIPLE THREAT!
Have you ever pictured yourself centre stage, singing your heart out under the spotlight, a frenzy of ‘high kicks’ backing your show stopping high note? If so, you definitely need to explore the magical world of Musical Theatre and start your path of becoming a ‘Triple Threat’!
At Trilogy Academy of Dance and Baton Twirling, Musical Theatre means so many things. An opportunity to explore foundational pillars of the discipline including acting methodology, ensemble and solo voice, and dance techniques specific to this genre of performance. In this class, students will explore characters, convey emotions, and utilize technical language such as stage direction, musicality, and technique. Students will engage with script work, character dimensions, and physical form. Students will participate in ensemble singing exercises to create interesting and supported sound. Students will build endurance, connect to the physical body, and explore several dance styles to deepen their dance knowledge. This class is designed to blend traditional and contemporary methods from acting, singing, and dance to create a truly unique set of performance skills. The ‘Trilogy Triple Threat’ class is about fostering a love and respect for Musical Theatre and also about creating a cast community that is special and fun!
This class is for dancers/actors/singers aged 15+. This class will compete at Trilogy Academy studio competitions and will be part of the competitive program. No other classes at Trilogy are mandatory to take this class, however other dance classes are encouraged.
Classes will run on Fridays from 5:30pm-6:30pm
