Testimonial
“ My daughter has twirled with Kellie for 7 years now and she has been such a positive role model for her. Kellie is one of the kindest people I know and she makes all her athletes and their parents feel like they are important and valued. The work she does with her athletes is absolutely amazing and they have all grown exponentially as twirlers and thrived under her coaching. The amount of behind the scenes work she does for the athletes to make sure they have all the best opportunities and possibilities given to them is only one way she goes above and beyond. She is not only a fantastic coach but a wonderful role model for all involved in sport. I have had the privilege of working alongside Kellie in the baton world over the past few years and her guidance and patience with myself and others is like no other. She has made our group of twirlers and parents feel like a family and anyone who joins her baton world is accepted with open arms and absolute dedication and positivity. ”
“We are incredibly grateful for Nicole, our daughter’s teacher. Nicole has made an immense impact on her journey through dance. She is an experienced and certified teacher with a very strong background in all dance disciplines. Nicole has a heart of gold and always looks out for the best interest of the child! She is passionate about teaching and she always has a positive impact on her students. She is kind and patient while still managing to push her students toward excellence. Nicole exudes enthusiasm, she is approachable, and she is an excellent communicator. Nicole is an incredibly gifted and well rounded teacher!”
“There are never going to be enough words to express how grateful I am that my daughter had an opportunity to be taught by Miss Zoe.
As my daughter expanded on her dance journey, she chose the studio she did, because of Miss Zoe. She wanted to train with the best and grow as a performer. Miss Zoe’s talent as a choreographer and teacher are well known and recognized in the community, however the draw was more than that. Miss Zoe has something special that is hard to describe, but it is felt. It is her energy, her commitment and the way she engages with her students that sets her apart. At an early age, my daughter saw it behind the stage at various dance competitions and she knew she wanted to experience that energy first hand and be part of the team Miss Zoe created.
Miss Zoe is a wonderful teacher, mentor and role model for not only my daughter, but the countless students that have worked with her in the dance studio. I appreciated Miss Zoe adopting my daughter into your “tap family”, providing her with a safe place to grow as a performer and as a person. My daughter has been blessed to learn from Miss Zoe and now having graduated from the dance studio, is able to call her a friend.
I can only thank Miss Zoe for the support and the interest she showed my daughter in her achievements (in and out of the studio), as well as the countless hours she dedicated making the time my daughter spent with her special and for making memories that my daughter (and I) won’t forget”
“Over the past couple of years, I have had the pleasure of getting to know Zoe as an employer, teacher, mentor, and friend. Back in 2019, I was going through a major change and transition to a new dance studio. I deliberated with my family about which studio to move to. I remember seeing Zoe at local dance competitions and was impressed by her precise and creative choreography. What stood out to me, even more, was the relationship and the way she interacted with her dancers. There was an energy and community created that I wanted to be a part of. She became a significant reason for me to move to her dance studio. Being a student of Zoe’s has impacted me greatly as a performer and student. She takes time to get to know her students on a personal level and cares about their success not only in the dance studio but outside of the studio as well. On multiple occasions, Zoe has taken time out of her life to come and support me in local musicals and performances and has been one of my biggest supporters in all aspects of my life. I was also honored in having Zoe as one of my guests at my high school graduation last June. After moving away from Saskatoon to pursue a career in the performing arts, Zoe has kept in contact and has given me so much love and support even through a phone screen. Zoe is such an inspiration to me as a dancer and also as a person. She is truly one of a kind.”
“I always reflect back fondly on my dancing days. I feel lucky to have had Nicole as a dance teacher. Her positive energy & kind nature allows her to connect easily with her students. She challenged me when needed while also catering to my strengths. Her flexible approach created an environment for growth without adding unnecessary pressure. Lessons with her were always fun! She celebrated my wins and comforted me on my losses. Her choreography was recognized by many adjudicators. One solo she choreographed for me received platinum at an international level, a special memory we both share! Nothing speaks more true to her character than the relationship we were able to maintain as I grew older. She invests in each connection that she makes within the dance studio. Transitioning from being my dance teacher to a mentor outside of the studio. So many fond memories and life lessons came from my time with Nicole. A true pleasure to have shared my love for dance with her by my side!”
“I was coached by Kellie for many years and can confidently say that she models amazing qualities any aspiring baton twirler would greatly benefit from. She is dedicated to each athlete’s success in baton twirling and personal growth through sport. Kellie continually goes above and beyond as she is deeply invested in helping twirlers reach their goals in individual and team events. Kellie is supportive, organized, and has exceptional communication skills which are invaluable to her coaching. Above all, Kellie makes practices fun while ensuring a safe space to grow and build friendships that last a lifetime.”
