At Trilogy Academy, we educate, develop and promote the art of dance and sport of baton twirling. Through knowledge, passion and experience our studio instructors will provide our students with the tools that they need to pursue their goals within dance and baton twirling. Job Overview

We are seeking a talented, enthusiastic, and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our growing team for the 2025-2026 dance season! The ideal candidate will be experienced in teaching a variety of dance styles and have a passion for working with students ranging from tots to competitive level (experience with adults is a bonus!). This position offers the opportunity to be part of a collaborative and dynamic studio that values innovation, professionalism, and community spirit.

Responsibilities

• Teach and choreograph classes in one or more styles (e.g., Acro, Ballet, Baton Twirling, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Musical Theatre and Tap)
• Instruct students of various ages and levels, from beginner to advanced
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment
• Prepare students for recital, competitions, and performances
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff to plan studio events and programs
• Maintain attendance records and provide constructive feedback to students and parents
• Uphold Trilogy Academy’s values and code of conduct
• Available to attend Trilogy Academy studio competitions, if required.

Qualifications

• Certification in ADAPT, RAD, CDTA and/or Acrobatic Arts will be considered a valuable asset
• Proven experience teaching dance in a studio or educational setting
• Strong technical foundation in one or more dance disciplines
• Experience with choreography for performances and/or competition teams
• Energetic, dependable, and organized with excellent communication skills
• Ability to inspire and connect with students of all ages
• Criminal record check required (or willingness to obtain)
• Bonus: Experience in baton twirling and preschool dance is a plus!
