BIO

Miss Kellie fell in love with dance and baton twirling at the age of 6. During her childhood and teenage years she trained in almost every discipline and was able to compete locally, provincially, nationally and internationally. She has successfully completed her ADAPT Advanced jazz exam and won scholarships from various dance competitions. She was able to train and perform at Walt Disney World and Disneyland as a young dancer.

Although Miss Kellie loves all things dance and baton twirling, her real passion growing up was in the sport of baton twirling. Along with her team members, Miss Kellie, was able to compete for Canada in multiple world championships while travelling around the world. This team was able to capture a bronze medal at the 2005 World Baton Twirling Championship in the team division, which ultimately led them to being inducted into the Saskatoon Sports Hall of Fame in 2019.

Miss Kellie started assisting in her teenage years and has been teaching for over 15 years. She is a certified level 3 coach with the Canadian Baton Twirling Federation and has coached athletes locally, provincially, and at competitions around the world such as Walt Disney World, France, and Croatia. She has completed her NCCP training as well as SaskSport’s Respect in Sport course. Miss Kellie is a M2 certified teacher with Acrobatic Arts. She is a firm believer in the entire athlete including their psychological preparation and injury prevention.

When not at studio or in the gym, Miss Kellie works at Royal University Hospital as the Adult Oncology Clinical Coordinator, Saskatoon Pharmacy Services for the Saskatchewan Health Authority.

Miss Kellie is excited about this new chapter in being co-owner/director at Trilogy Academy where she hopes to empower athletes with lessons that go far beyond the studio walls.
