As my daughter expanded on her dance journey, she chose the studio she did, because of Miss Zoe. She wanted to train with the best and grow as a performer. Miss Zoe’s talent as a choreographer and teacher are well known and recognized in the community, however the draw was more than that. Miss Zoe has something special that is hard to describe, but it is felt. It is her energy, her commitment and the way she engages with her students that sets her apart. At an early age, my daughter saw it behind the stage at various dance competitions and she knew she wanted to experience that energy first hand and be part of the team Miss Zoe created.

Miss Zoe is a wonderful teacher, mentor and role model for not only my daughter, but the countless students that have worked with her in the dance studio. I appreciated Miss Zoe adopting my daughter into your “tap family”, providing her with a safe place to grow as a performer and as a person. My daughter has been blessed to learn from Miss Zoe and now having graduated from the dance studio, is able to call her a friend.

“Over the past couple of years, I have had the pleasure of getting to know Zoe as an employer, teacher, mentor, and friend. Back in 2019, I was going through a major change and transition to a new dance studio. I deliberated with my family about which studio to move to. I remember seeing Zoe at local dance competitions and was impressed by her precise and creative choreography. What stood out to me, even more, was the relationship and the way she interacted with her dancers. There was an energy and community created that I wanted to be a part of. She became a significant reason for me to move to her dance studio. Being a student of Zoe’s has impacted me greatly as a performer and student. She takes time to get to know her students on a personal level and cares about their success not only in the dance studio but outside of the studio as well. On multiple occasions, Zoe has taken time out of her life to come and support me in local musicals and performances and has been one of my biggest supporters in all aspects of my life. After moving away from Saskatoon to pursue a career in the performing arts, Zoe has kept in contact and has given me so much love and support even through a phone screen.  Zoe is such an inspiration to me as a dancer and also as a person.
